WHAT I DO

I meet people in the places where life has become uncertain, disorienting, or too large to keep holding alone.

Sometimes that means sitting together and speaking out loud until something becomes clearer. Sometimes it means moving through a home and noticing what is no longer working, what needs to shift, what the room is doing to your body, and how to make the space more livable. Sometimes it means going outside, walking land, meeting a place you have never been before, or letting movement and landscape change the conversation.

I work with the whole of a life as it is actually being lived: identity, family, children, home, work, grief, transition, creativity, the body, the land, and the changing world around us. I do not ask you to separate those things into categories before you arrive.

Sometimes we talk. Sometimes we move furniture. Sometimes we make something. Sometimes we go to Horsetooth. Sometimes I meet with a family so they can learn how to be with one another differently outside the pressure of the house—to move together, notice the land, let children explore, and find another way of being in relation.

I am interested in the moments when the old architecture no longer fits and the next form has not fully arrived. I come into those places with you—not to fix you, not to tell you what your life means, but to help you see what is here, hear yourself more clearly, and make contact with what is still alive.

The world is changing quickly. A lot of people are carrying uncertainty they do not have language for yet. This is where I tend to meet people.

Other ways to meet 
Some things do not need to become an event.
Sometimes we just need a place to come back into relation.
With the land.
With ourselves.
With one another.
On Sundays, I spend a few hours at Horsetooth.
You can come.
There is no circle to join.
No lesson.
No requirement to speak.
No expectation to stay the whole time.
We might sit.
Walk.
Eat.
Go into the water.
Talk for a while.
Wander off and come back.
You do not have to perform connection.
You do not have to explain yourself.
You can just be there.
