Geomancy
When life changes, sometimes the place you live stops fitting.
A birth. A separation. Illness. Grief. A move. A child growing. A body changing. Or simply the feeling that the way you are living no longer works.
You may not know exactly what needs to change.
You may only know that something feels off.
I begin there.
I come into the actual place with you and pay attention to what is already here: the rooms, objects, light, movement, textures, routines, forgotten corners, things carrying history, things that no longer belong, things that have been waiting to be noticed.
This is not interior design.
It is not organizing for the sake of being organized.
It is not about imposing a style onto your life.
It is a way of asking:
What is here now?
What is this place doing to the people living inside it?
What needs to move, soften, open, gather, leave, or become visible so life can be lived here more fully?
You do not have to know what you need before I come.
We begin with what is already speaking.
Sometimes that means moving a room.
Sometimes it means working with objects, memory, light, material, thresholds, or land.
Sometimes it means noticing that a home was built for a life that no longer exists.
Sometimes it means creating somewhere to live inside what is happening now.
Not surviving the space.
Inhabiting it.
I call this Geomancy.
A practice of place.
A way of working with home, land, material, memory, and the life already happening there.

Dwelling
Rooms, thresholds, objects, light, texture, memory.
I work with what is already present and help the space become more coherent with the life happening inside it
Land
Gardens, paths, stone, plants, found material, weather.
I follow the character of the place and work with what is already asking to be seen, moved, gathered, or left alone.
Arrangements
Corners, tables, altars, collections, forgotten objects.
Sometimes the work is small and precise: one surface, one object, one place that needs warmth, weight, color, or attention.
Money
There is no fixed package or program.
